Known as a hard-working, independent, clear thinking individual, Drue Brown firmly believes in the power of public education to improve students’ lives. She will vote her own mind, heart and conscience. Brown brings a unique set of qualifications to the BISD Board of Trustees including 42 years of BISD experience in positions ranging from secondary classroom teacher to the district’s long-time Public Information Officer. During her career, Brown has earned a reputation for integrity and ethical behavior.
